Ink using Looksmart?

Noticed last night that a listing I have in Looksmart has appeared in Inktomi portals, it uses the Looksmart description but my title. I wonder if Looksmart will be their vehicle to the paid submissions?

This might also explain the weird listings which had a combination of meta description and the first few lines of the page all showing up in the Ink description a few weeks ago - tweaking for this change.

I'm guessing, but maybe the paid submission will not utilize the submit URL from Ink portal partners.

[edit] ok, just noticed NFFC posted something very similar 6 days ago, and I missed it, doh!, feel free to nuke this one[/edit]

Based on NFFC's posting ( [webmasterworld.com...] ) I would say that all it seems is happening is that Inktomi is spidering the Looksmart directory and using Looksmart's descriptions in favor of devising their own. Cross-checking their own listings against Looksmart might have struck them as a way of validating some of their listings.
