Inktomi is ok with them. They are the only ones who are to my knowledge.

thanks, LM. maybe you need to fire off a quick update to ClickZ, here's a topical excerpt from yesterday's article
-Registering Dynamic Sites [clickz.com]
|Currently, to my knowledge, none of the robot search engines plan to provide a solution for registering dynamic pages - it just doesn't seem to be an option. |

I wonder if he calls himself a Guru?
I like his definition of cloaking...
"Cloaking or IP delivery is a more sophisticated version of redirect."

Bruemmer is a "hold-over" from the good 'ole days at Infoseek. He built WebIgnite from it, and couldn't keep up with technology changes.
He basically just re-hashes everyone else's info. at ClickZ, and rubs elbows in the gold old boy network. I knew he moved into opt in email a couple of years ago, and haven't run across "ANY" clients utilizing his web optimization services. Of course, we may run in different circles? :)
I complained to Anne Handley several times, and publicly humiliated him in when ClickZ had a forum...

RZ, go to the ClickZ editors roster [clickz.com], scan down the page about halfway... see any names that look like a match?
LM, unless they read the 'Thou Shalt Not' thread, they wilt not get it.

Lycos UK also indexes and even crawls URLs with question marks in them. AV certainly used to index a URL if you submitted it directly.

Nice catch, never bothered to go there. I usually have to go do something outside in the "fresh air", after I regurgitate one of Bruemmer's articles.... :)
At least he knows how to do something right?
