Google Street View Car In Wrong-Way Crash

AUGUST 7--A Google Street View car that was traveling in the wrong direction on a one-way street crashed into another vehicle last night as it attempted to make a U-turn, Arkansas police report.

The 6 PM accident on a Little Rock street left the Google car with significant damage to its front end. The other car was “#*$!in’ totaled,” according to driver Dylan Case, 22, who was injured in the crash.

Like any other odd accident of wrong-way driving, the only interest here is the car that caused the accident was G Streetview...

.....climbed atop his vehicle after the accident and tinkered with the high tech camera equipment mounted on the roof.

Maybe Google should use their self-driving cars for street view and get these idiots out from behind the wheel.

I initially read the first post too fast and thought the offending vehicle was a g### driverless car. "Oops! Back to the drawing board."

One would hope that he wasn't following turn directions from Google Maps. (Of course, a lot of others would hope he WAS...)
