How happy do you really need to be?

If that's not enough try it for 24 hours!
http://24hoursofhappy.com/

Pretty amazing website with 24 hours of seamless video synched to your local timezone.

Nice.

P.S. I watched for almost 2 hours while working and finally got to the point I was ready to scream.

YMMV

This makes me happy.

:: detour to Safari* ::

Oh, that's hilarious :)

For me it's a tossup between

* I guess it's actually Camino that dislikes YouTube, rather than the other way around, as it crashed when I tried to extract the URL. But I don't like Safari, especially the changes in 7 :(

@lucy after watching suffering through that video I realize you probably loved the old hamster dance page.

I am sorry, I tried to watch it but couldn't. So I guess I am not happy. Even though it didn't make me sad that I couldn't (stand to) watch the whole thing.

Is that what porcupines sound like?! I had no idea :)

Anyway, I need cheering up. For some time I have had running through my head the cover of "Heartbeat" by Dave Edmonds from the first Beserkley compilation. Now I have done some assiduous research and find that

#1 this song was not on the first Chartbusters compilation (the only one I ever owned) or, as far as I can tell, any other
#2 Dave Edmonds or possibly Edmunds was not a Beserkley artist
#3 if Dave Edmonds or possibly Edmunds ever covered "Heartbeat", the Internet does not know about it

and finally

#4 the only "Heartbeat" cover I can find from even approximately the right time period is by-- brace yourselves-- the Knack.

Thanks a lot, brain.

Let me just throw in this one, just for fun, of course: The Intro and the Outro by The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band

the porcupine video was a hoot and a half, I watched a couple of the other porcupine videos.

he's just so cute, maybe we could breed the quills out of them or genetically alter them as he looks like a great gentle pet other than the obvious needles everywhere.

I didn't even know they had 'hands' like a raccoon so watching him hold and eat an ear of corn was amazing.

and he really talks too...

made me happy :)

@engine LOL that's wacky

Bill very interesting question so a group in Paris asked 50 people what made them happy. Interesting to watch.
