Just go to the play store. Tap "my apps" you will be presented with 2 tabs "all" and "installed" your app history will be in the "all" tab.

Thanks Mack, that helps.
I'm still going to have to go through them again, and put them on the relevant pages. I had them all nicely in order. :/

hehe, yeah, I guess I am like that. :)
Travel tools on one page, image tools on another page, communications on another, etc.
It's a point of principle, too.

I assume any associated data stored for them got wiped too?
I'd be royally pissed if all my Angry Birds history got erased and I had to go through all the levels again. Or would I...?

I've yet to find that out.

To stop it happening again. Settings > applications > manage applications > select each app and tap "move to sd card.
I also have different screens for groups of apps. Must be ocd aswell lol.

To all intents and purposes, the apps were wiped. I need to re-install them.
In addition, i've now noticed a privacy issue having developed. This message now shows in gmail:-
"Oops! You are not invisible because you're logged into Google Talk from another client, device or location..."
I am certainly, not knowingly, logged into Google Talk. In fact, I can't find it on my phone, and I have not logged in on my desktop, laptop or tablet, etc.

If you visit gmail on a desktop it loggs you into gtalk from there. Google Talk is now called hangouts at the play store.

Well, this is interesting, and very annoying. The message is cryptic because it suggests another location or equipment, and not the gmail i'm logged into.
Something is not correct with Google's system because I should be able to control this. It seems I cannot control it any longer. #Googlefail
It seems other users have had this problem and there doesn't seem to be an obvious fix.
