This morning, I noticed a huge spike in traffic (about 3 times regular levels, tapering back to normal after about 3 hours). I did the usual checking to determine it was natural traffic and not an attack.

One of our sites has a section about the DMZ in Korea with a Japanese translation. Every once in a while when North Korea does or says something stupid, Yahoo News Japan includes a link to this section with their story. We love the bump in traffic (and AdSense revenue) from this. (Today's bump came from their threat to end the Korean War armistice.)

Unfortunately, this time they didn't post the story until about 9 PM Japan time, so traffic tapered off after about 3 hours. Not sure if they'll keep the story overnight so we can get another bump when everyone there wakes up.

Anyway- thanks, Kim!
