Still ouch. The default domain-name dragon price is $1000, give or take $1 or $5. So they obviously think someone wants the name.
Hm. Sounds like one of those math exercises you do around grade 10: If you pay for x domain registrations at $10 per year per domain, and sell {some proportion} of them at price y after {some period of time}, how many do you have to sell and how long can you hold onto them to come out ahead? Now compute the optimal value of y.
