He SevenCubed: Most everyone in this thread has experienced editing to one degree or another at one time or another including me. BTW isn't it "testament"?

Add to my pet hates online hijacked and derailed forum threads (see above) | It's known colloquially in Scotland as "leap frog". |
| It would probably taste better if it were made out of actual frogs.

| My pet hates online are when the cat swats at my cursor, sits on top of the monitor with his paws dangling over the screen making it hard to read, or worst of all walks across the keyboard. |
| "That's not a bug. It's a feature." | Add to my pet hates online hijacked and derailed forum threads |
| You talkin to me? | You should be using 3 stops, which is called an ellipsis. |
| I could introduce you to a forum where the Ellipsis thread is currently :: shuffling papers :: seventeen pages, at 15 php/bb posts per page, spanning three years. Much of it devoted to discussion of what "ellipsis" really means.

Clicking on a product image to view a larger image (because that's what it said under the image) only to have the 'larger' image pop up exactly the same size as the original.

| Yep, you're right it is. Also, now that I'm a Senior, whichever one of you administrates our pensions please be sure to spell my name properly on my pension cheque, it's easy to remember -- 3 7s in the form of an impossible triangle.

| Hm, now is that Code, <pre> or Fixed? And why can't the Preview match the real thing so I don't have to keep backtracking?
x x x x x x x x x x Another perpetual disgruntlement: Sites that are ever-so-helpful when it comes to recovering a forgotten password... but won't give the smallest clue about your login ID even when it's always the same, as in "Your ID is your e-mail address" or "Log in with your gas-and-electric account number".

Sorry, I've got to say it...trying to read this forum on my mobile phone. Almost impossible to relax and have a read as you always have to slide back and forth. When's the new, modern, layout being released?

Following on from the above one of my pet hates is forum software that sends me an email to tell me I have just made a post on the forum. DOH? Another is forum software with a notification system that takes me back to the start of the thread rather then to the page where the new post has been made.

... or when you've edited one of your own posts ;) Some of this o'course comes from years of habit-- does anyone here not follow at least one php/bb forum? So you get accustomed to postcount = reply count, i.e. initial post doesn't count, and the "new posts" flag excludes your own posts. That's what happens when you get there first and have to make it all up from scratch. If you come along later -- in just about any human venture -- you can look around and selectively crib other people's ideas.
