When you drink vodka over ice, it can give you kidney failure.
When you drink rum over ice, it can give you liver failure.
When you drink whiskey over ice, it can give you heart problems.
When you drink gin over ice, it can give you brain problems.
Apparently, ice is really bad for you.

So is water, for much the same reasons.
Water can also dissolve marshmallow goo* and get sawdust out of your hair** when all else fails, hence the ominous term "universal solvent".
Consider yourselves warned.
* The kind that gets smeared all over your bed when a plump long-haired cat walks over your cocoa mug without spilling it.
** Sanding a wood-veneer hallway floor with a quarter-sheet sander is something like cleaning an auditorium floor with a toothbrush, except that it takes longer.
