Nothing to check... Looks like Google didn't think it was an appropriate mashup.
Google has killed off "Google Shoot View," a first-person shooter video game based on Google's Street View mapping product. The game used Google's Street View database of 360 degree street-level photography, and imposed an automatic rifle sight and some sound effects on top of it.

There must be something in the water (or more likely in the air) in Amsterdam...
The company that created Shootview writes--
"...we first look at what the problem is before we start thinking within a certain medium. This way we can determine what the best strategy and approach is to reach the desired audience with the appropriate message."
I guess the appropriate message here is "we screwed up".

Somehow this put me in mind of an online "game" written to illustrate how much of your attention is distracted when you talk on the phone while driving. The object is to avoid hitting pedestrians while dealing with the simulated conversation. But I couldn't help but think that some players would say the ### with the phone ... and just take aim, preferably at the pedestrians wearing a particular color of T-shirt which counts double.
