Internet Explorer users have a lower than average IQ, according to research by Consulting firm AptiQuant.

[bbc.co.uk...]

It's a story that made me laugh. How do you get a job doing this kind of silly research?

You must be a IE user, because you just opened the fourth thread about this topic.... ;)

It is a pitty they did not research income. If it had turned out that users of a specific browser are richer than others I would have switched browsers. Because I really could use the extra money.

That, too, has been said in another thread. What worries me is that I'm not entirely sure the two-or-more posters are joking :(

Yes, that was me too in the other thread. However I found my posting so remarkably witty that I thought it was a good idea to post it again. In case somebody missed the other thread. That idea occured to me because I am so smart - as proven by recent studies.

Disproving the facts doesn't always mean the claim is false . . . <ducks>

I feel there is some "truthiness" [en.wikipedia.org] in this "study".

I can confirm that idiots use Firefox. Case in point, I just got done arguing with someone on an internet forum. I was using firefox at the time.

It's funny because it's true.
