| BBC Site Overloaded and Offline?

| Methinks it's net traffic watching the BBC coverage of the Royal Wedding. Added, well, it came back, so they must have a handle on it.

An IT friend of mine was working in Rangoon, and he was essentially in control of all inbound and outbound traffic to the country, so he was pretty well connected in the industry and was in touch with a guy at the BBC at that time. I can't remember the figures, but the bandwidth the Beeb were putting out was mindblowing.
