Congrats for such a long tenure on WebmasterWorld and in that continued tradition of helping each other out, I'll help you out with the math too as 2011-2002=9 so almost 10 years would be closer ;) Looking forward to another 12!

Yes, I was seven years in here last month. Like most people I joined when the brown stuff hit the fan (after one of my websites bombed in the rankings) but I have stayed for the duration. I have learned so much from this forum and I am indebted to all of those who have helped me over the years. I like to think that I am able to give something back now and then.

You are on a very short list of posters whose threads I'll read just because of who is starting the post. (Helps that you have an interesting ID.) You might not consider me a friend, but there is no denying that I am a fan.

I find, the older I get the fewer new friends I acquire. Even close friends I had a long time ago I don't keep in touch with anymore. It is just part of getting older. It is simply no longer a priority in my life to acquire new friends and have an active social life. It is a lot of effort to make and keep new freinds IMO. So don't worry about VT.

| Myself. But I also find that the older I get, the more important my old friends become. I have friends today that I went to school with and I'm 50 years old. We talk on the phone or email and it's always a source of enjoyment for me.

| Ditto that. | (Helps that you have an interesting ID.) |
| And that as well. :) I have to say that I don't have many "friends" here either- certainly no one that I have met offline. Although, that would certainly change if I could ever fit a PubCon into my schedule... Hmmm, Brett, how about a PubCon Far East? :)

Nah, it didn't hurt that bad. And you're a big boy too. Stuff like that rolls off your back. As well it should. Let me tell you what I tell my dogs, and there is no disrespect intended here mister. My dogs are huge in my life, okay? Sometimes I say "kisskiss" And they'll come to me and give me a kiss. A lick on my face. I like it. They like it. Balance gets restored. I'd kiss you too. Only once though..

@BDW Oh quit. I'd kiss you twice if you'd shaved. But I'd rather kiss a woman. Let's get to a pubcon. I'd like to shake your hand and buy you a drink. There's probably some things you can tell me. I might be able to tell you a thing or two as well. It'd be fun no matter what. I don't think I'm off topic. This is about friendship, right?

I'd love to get to a pubcon but they are all over the pond and a bit too expensive for me. If you want to buy me a drink just send me the money. :)
