Some numbers mean something to one, nothing to others...
Just posted my 1860(th) post. That was the last year before the war of Northern Aggression descended upon my beloved South. These many years later the North is doing it again, but that's a different story, and is politics which we avoid here at WW. Long and short? This is the only site, other than my own, where I have stayed around long enough to post that much drivel. Thank you all for putting up with me, slapping me down when I'm off a bit, or patting me on the back when I offered something worthwhile. Coming up on my fifth anniversary at WW.

Now you're at 1868 (a leap year), the year Thomas Edison applied for his first patent. I must put November 29 on my calendar and be sure to wish you a happy 5th anniversary. Now get back to work!

Didn't realize my 5-year anniversary is right after tangor's. So, 5 years in Internet years is ... wow- ancient!

Time relative to developments on the internet have often been described as being like dog years, ie 1 calendar year = 7 dog years.
So, when it comes, Tangor & LifeinAsia, congratulations on your 35th anniversary - woof! :-)
