I bought 10 expired domains the other month that are all 'worth' $200-$500 (some have good backlinks) ... if only there were an automated service that would exchange the registration fee for $500...

Those sites always make me laugh. They frequently value by blog (lower traffic, zero income) to my actual money making site.
They usually underestimate ad income (and assume using only Adsense), so my evergreen content (it keeps chugging away steadily even if I do not touch it for months) end up being valued at about a months revenue (which, as it needs very little work, almost equates a months profit).
