At 9 seconds into 9:09, I listened to "Revolution 9" (Beatles' White Album). The Chinese part of me wanted to buy 9 lottery tickets. However, the German part of me kept telling me not to do it. ("Nein! Nein!, Nein!, ...") ;)

Google did a logo for this momentous occasion, but they didn't leave it up for long. I would have thought they would have used it all day, but it is already back to the vanilla logo. ? The custom Google logos are one their coolest features. Have to admit that about the only reason I use Bing is to see the day's image. Pulling one of the best pages (Ha! Ha!) out of the Google playbook. Very simple page, not too busy with options, but more interesting to look at visually with the image, even though it loses about of the simplicity effect. I rotate images and logos on some sites, but not nearly as well as Google or Bing. Also don't have a bazillion people that enjoy (or notice) my changes. At 09:09:09 on 09/09/09 a nine year old cat in a village outside Hamburg met it's end for the ninth time and cried "Nein, Nein, Nein"! ("The average age for an indoor cat is 15 years, while the average age for an outdoor cat is only 3 to 5 years." Those 'stuck up' cats that are 'too good' for their owners should be reminded of this.) Get a head start on next year's big competition for the 10:10:10 10/10/10 extravaganza. The champion will hold the crown for 1,000 years. How can I monetize this?

Well, at least hold the crown for a little more than year, 1 month, and 1 day until 11/11/11 11:11:11. I think that crown would be cooler than 10/10/10 10:10:10.

Apparently registry offices here in Australia did a roaring trade yesterday with Chinese Couples getting Married. In Chinese Symbolism 9 represents Longevity and the word for Nine is also very similar to that for Wine and Beer. Onya Woz

Makes you wonder, would they have noticed 11-11-1111 11:11:11?
