The two companies were once the same; but are now completely separate. The Ice Cream Walls is actually owned by Unilever and has been for some time. In addition 'Walls magnum classic' is halal; making it highly unlikely that sausage-meat fats are used as such fats are predominantly pork fat. The correct version of the 'story' is that the Ice Cream wing was started to boost business during hot weather when people bought fewer pies and sausages. Your suggested reason, whilst fun, makes little sense as getting the maximum amount of fat in a sausage is the most important factor in getting it to taste delicious!

| I like sausages, I like ice cream. I don't see the problem? You were probably the one saying 'Cheese? In a dessert? Don't be preposterous!' :D vincevincevince, thanks for the update! Although, I disagree with your taste of sausages, I'd rather have a lean Lincolnshire, with herbs and stuff in it, than an elongated lump of lard with gristle in it. You must buy economy! ;) Mmmmm, that sounds yummy! Make some and I'll eat it! No, really I would! kudos for the ņ

Maybe I'm just a little too conservative. None of those different ice creams sound appealing to a Kansas boy. And cheese with dessert?! Don't be preposterous! :)

I know of a restaurant - now closed down, and this might be why - which used to have tobacco flavoured ice cream on the dessert menu. If it were still open it begs the question - would you have to go outside to eat it?

I've also had cumin seed flavoured ice cream. There's something about spicy things and the creaminess of ice cream that just works. | would you have to go outside to eat it? |
| Only if you were going to smoke it. But that would just get messy. | And cheese with dessert?! Don't be preposterous! |
| My brother won't eat cheesecake for this reason.
