hi,
so i have this flash video/file (and all accompanying files for the flash) that works on my local dev box, but when i ftp files (not changing anything) to our production web server nothing happens when attempting to play the file.
is it a config in IIS that's not allowing me to play the flash file on the production server? i've gone thru IIS to see if there were any discrepancies between dev and production and couldn't find anyhing.

This is *almost* always some path difference somewhere. Especially if . . .

If the status bar hangs on "waiting for example.com...." Flash is not very "smart" when it comes to an incorrect path reference. It will hang there forever.
Another possibility, you're sure you uploaded video and .swf's as binary, correct?
