Stage animation different to SWF

I have a simple animation that takes place, when a button is clicked, another button appears over the top of the clicked button to give the impression it's changed colour (want to keep this method due to the graphics used).

There are three buttons and this animation takes place on all of them, when I move the play bar across the frames everything looks fine. When I ctrl enter to view it as a SWF the buttons appear to be out of line and move when the animation takes place, making it look amatuer to say the least.

My question is, why does the animation on the stage look different to the SWF file, all the action script is correct and the animation is starting on the correct frame. Is there a setting somewhere I have missed?

Make sure that you have the "Enable Simple Frame Actions" checked for the stage: this could possibly be why they look different
