Can I link 2 flash files in Dreamweaver?
Scrolling Thumbnails

Hi guys

I'm new to building websites, and have a problem at the moment. my site is very image heavy, and i want to have a thumbnail bar underneath the main image area.

ideally i'd like this thumbnail bar to scroll across when hovered over (so only showing a small amount of images at one time). if one of the thumbnails are clicked on, i would like that image to appear larger above it.

i've managed to do this, but as the thumbnail bar scrolls, so do the main images, as they are part of the same flash movie at present.

what i'd like is for the selected main image to stay until another thumbnail is clicked. it has been suggested that i could create 2 flash files and create links between them, but haven't a clue how to do this!

i'm doing all the work in dreamweaver, and am not good at coding. however, if there is another way in dreamweaver other than what i've mentioned above, i'm all ears!

thank you so much. :)

does anyone also know how to make the thumbnail bar disappear when not hovered over? so when cursor is in thumbnail area it shows, when not it is hidden?

thanks again!
