Transition actionscript
Handlebar

Instead of using timeline effects, I'd like to use actionscript to handle transitions between photos in a photo viewer.

I'd like to be able to add and remove photos easier, which isn't easy if you use timeline efects

I have build two types of custom photo viewers, one using timeline effects, and the other an XML driven version.

Ideally, I'd like to use the XML driven version, the only problem is I can't figure out a way to get it to automatically play through all the elements. Instead, I can only have such that the user selects next and previous instead of autoplay.

Any suggestions?

Found an answer to this. I found an extension to a tutorial I had learned earlier, I have manipulated the action script to suit my needs, but now I have a custom xml driven flash photoviewer.

This makes it super easy to add, remove, and change transition time between photos.

Am I allowed to link to these tutorials? It took me a hundred google searches to narrow down to what I wanted, and others in the future will desire such a thing.
