Really stupid Flash question

I want to install a plugin for flash MX 2004 (yes i know, outdated) but the Manage Extensions under the Help menu is grayed out. How do i fix it?

Hi.

Do you have latest version of Macromedia Extension Manager?
It is free and it was recently updated:

[adobe.com...]

With extension manager you should be able to manage all components and extensions from extension manager regardless of the flash program versions.
