I installed the new Firefox for Android on both my Galaxy phone and Nexus 7 tablet and at first glance I'm loving it more than Chrome which has some real issues.

The biggest problem Firefox solves for me is the text area edit control on WebmasterWorld goes bat crap crazy trying to edit it in Chrome, esp. if you're zoomed in, the cursor bounces all over the place and never where you want it.

Editing a post on WebmasterWorld works perfect in Firefox.

Not to mention I was never a fan of the UI on Chrome, the list of bookmarks with the itsty bitsy icons you can't see, even on the tablet, it's bad.

I tried Dolphin as an interim solution and it has it's merits, such as giving my IP intel and stuff that I need, but it's still no Firefox.

Firefox, again is my browser of choice :)

Also consider Opera. I've just tried it out on my Nexus 7, and it seemed to work well with WebmasterWorld editing.

If this was a thread about Opera but it isn't...

Anyway, still loving Firefox for Android using it on all of my devices now and SYNC the whole bunch and that's really nice.

The only thing I've run across is some web pages don't pinch and zoom on Android and I'm not sure what's causing that and I may have to report it.

Have you set FF as your default? I've not set a default browser on Android.

Yup, I have FF set as my default on all devices

It's so easy to change at any time it's not such a big deal IMO
