Ya it really does feel like they are racing IE to version 10

Reading the release notes now.

Lets see if they really dealt with the memory issues. The claim has been made before but they seem to give it emphasis now.

Is anyone using text-overflow: ellipsis? Any feedback on user experience?

They're not making any friends in corporate IT this way.

Great; this will probably break all plugins again...

FYI: nightly builds are already at version 9.0a1.

I realised I still have Firefox installed on my machine, but as I only used to use it for compatability tests, and they are to some extent less important than in the past, I decided to delete it. IE9 suffices.
