Hello All,

I have designed my website with layers and sumptous javascript and CSS in MM dreawweaver, the site looks fine in IE but not in FF.

The layers contents seems to have offset from where it needs to appear and the layer precedence arrangement also has failed with some layers that should have been on the top going behind certain others making them inaccessible like button for hyper links.

Being an amateur i could do whatever in best possible by my efforts and what more could be done to get this going good in both IE and FF.

kindly revert

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

George Kottackakathu

You've learnt a valuable lesson - always test on a selection of common browsers all the way through development.

Before you do anything else...
1) Validate your HTML [validator.w3.org...]
2) Validate your CSS [jigsaw.w3.org...]
3) In Firefox, open Tools|Error Console (after loading a relevant web page) and see if your javascript is generating errors.

DreamWeaver can also perform some validation.

Also note that links to personal websites are not permitted - so your post is likely to be edited by a moderator.

Kaled.

Dear Mr.Kaled,

Thank you very much for the reply.

I would try doing the validations.

Thanks & Best regards,
