firefox opens multiple instances from pdf file links

 5:43 pm on Feb 26, 2008 (gmt 0)

I've created a pdf document from an Indesign file with embedded web links. When I click on a web link in the pdf, multiple (three) instances of Firefox (my default browser) open. Most of the time all three windows are blank. Occassionally one will display the correct target. If I leave a window open and click the link in the pdf again, it generally open properly in the existing window.

I've seen this behavior in several Firefox computers. The IE computers I've tried opens the link normally so it appears to be a Firefox issue. Anyone able to help? Thanks.
