A new look would speak volumes JohnBiggscr msg:4140571 6:47 pm on May 26, 2010 (gmt 0) I love coming to webmaster world to get ideas and advice but each time I see it I can't shake the 'looks like it was made with an early version of Frontpage, using default graphics' type feel. I prefer crispy, smart, and shiny, not pastels.

I agree but I would also like to set up my own color scheme like it used to be. Swanny007 msg:4140970 11:06 pm on May 26, 2010 (gmt 0)
Yikes. Brett, please give members two style options. The original (good-looking) design, and a new high-tech (bloated) one... which may make everyone happy ;-) ChanandlerBong msg:4140976 11:09 pm on May 26, 2010 (gmt 0)
I can't believe how much of the feedback has been on this issue. Do people really put that much importance on the vehicle of the information as opposed to the information itself? It seems so. Looks like I'm in a minority. :( wyweb msg:4140983 11:16 pm on May 26, 2010 (gmt 0)
It seems so. Looks like I'm in a minority.. No you're not. I'll trade functionality over form any day. I want it to work. I don't give a damn what it looks like. My pickup truck looks like junk. Last winter when it got real cold it was that banged up pickup that was going around jumping people off when their brand new cars wouldn't start. Expo msg:4140984 11:16 pm on May 26, 2010 (gmt 0)
came here to post this, this site looks very drab and the layout is pretty awful. My first port of call for help is stackoverflow, they made good use of ajax and jquery to make life simple for the user. I get a buzz from that and I get good answers quickly.
