Yikes. Brett, please give members two style options. The original (good-looking) design, and a new high-tech (bloated) one... which may make everyone happy ;-)

I can't believe how much of the feedback has been on this issue. Do people really put that much importance on the vehicle of the information as opposed to the information itself?
It seems so. Looks like I'm in a minority. :(

No you're not. I'll trade functionality over form any day. I want it to work. I don't give a damn what it looks like.
My pickup truck looks like junk. Last winter when it got real cold it was that banged up pickup that was going around jumping people off when their brand new cars wouldn't start.

came here to post this, this site looks very drab and the layout is pretty awful.
My first port of call for help is stackoverflow, they made good use of ajax and jquery to make life simple for the user. I get a buzz from that and I get good answers quickly.
