First of all, I must say that although this is a wacky and extremely volatile and dynamic industry, WebmasterWorld is a great comfort zone, as it allows us to interact on a daily basis, with those that are in the same business as me. This is extremely refreshing, needless to say. Secondly, the moderators of this board do a superlative job of answering questions to the best of their abilities, in an extremely timely fashion. To me, this is what makes this board, what it is today. My only suggestion, and please don't take this as a criticism, is that it is sometimes hard to wade through lengthy threads, and come up with salient points from it. For these lengthy threads, a reader can sometimes get lost in the detail, and the various tangents that a thread ultimately takes. To remedy this, I would love to see the Moderators pick, choose, and summarize key issues and salient points, in a SUMMARY category. I realize that there are "sticky" threads and posts, but this would be more of a paraphrasing of salient summary issues. Perhaps the moderators could build a facility in the forum mechanism, that would allow each thread to be preluded with such a summary post. I don't think this would cut down on readership, and actually, I think it might increase it. It would be a novel concept, and I think it would accentuate what is already, an outstanding forum. Sincerely, Doug

The key would be knowing when a topic has conclude and if there are likely to be more changes. Another issue would be knowing where the facts are. If we look at some of the long threads there is a lot of user opinion expressed. I can see it being difficult to create an accurate summery what would meet everyones needs. Mack.
