Add the ability to "share" a thread and/or post

It would be nice to have sharing tools that would make it easy to share threads or individual posts via social sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc., and via email.

Also, each post in a thread has an id. Instead of displaying this at text like:
#: 4138606
Why not make that a link? That would allow you to easily link to a particular post in a thread or bookmark a particular post.

I like this idea. I've often wanted to send a useful thread to a colleague too but have to manually copy URLs and then paste them into my email. A quick email a friend form would be handy.

That number works in the way of the anchor name tags: .../4138604.htm#msg4138606

Would be nice if clicking that number sent you to that url so it's easy to copy/paste it, and I don't have to manually add it.

Yep, time to get with the program. Make it easy to share/socialize threads and posts. People expect to be able to have one-click sharing these days. Give it to 'em. :)

Did you ever try the e-a-friend option in the Message Thread Options toolbar below each thread?

Yeah, it totally blends in to the background. But unfortunately, it is thread-specific vs. post specific.
