|How to increase the number of visitors from Facebook?|
| 9:18 am on Feb 24, 2013 (gmt 0)|
I created about 200 Facebook pages (all were linked to fully qualified domains like http://artist-name.com/), and I've been getting a steady amount of around 170 visitors a day (82% ratio; one page - one visitor a day).
In the second round, I created 125 facebook pages (these ones link to an url that looks something like this http://domain-name/artist/artist-name), and I am seeing a traffic of only about 30 visitors a day (24% ratio only).
The second round of pages is getting significantly less Facebook likes, and I think it is a matter of the domain url, that looks different. Besides that the pages look exactly the same. It the first set visitors go to a full website dedicated to what they've been looking for on Facebook, and in the second case they only get to a section of a general website, related to the their search term.
In general, I would like to find out what might be going on with this, and is there any way to increase the number of visitors to the second site. What would I need to do? Maybe add a cover to the page or something like that. Does position in Facebook search result list depends on number of likes etc?

Get likes from real users and join groups having similar interest your Facebook Pages. Communicate with groups and add new friends.

I don't agree with your tactics to get visits from Facebook pages by creating so many pages. Create only one page and post user engaging post, Images on which user can comment & share. If your pocket is deep then you can also consider promoted post.

I don't agree with creating multiple pages too. the whole point of getting fans/followers in social media is to drive traffic and eventually increase engagements rates and improve branding.
There are couple of ways you could get more fans, such as post engaging post like alphag21 said and find the best time to post them - depends based on your niche but for example Facebook gets the more engagement on Wednesday between 1:00 - 3:00PM. Also creating a question or offering a coupon will increase the fun factor in facebook and overal will increase your fans. last thing, yet the best and fastest way is to use FB ads.

The thing is how you manage that much pages?
Managing 2,3,4,5,6 pages at the same looks fine.. but hundreds of pages...
even if you hired moderators and all that still you have to give time to them..
anyhow its really waste technique. you could spend that much time on 1 page for 1 industry. and concentrate on real targeted users.

Another suggestion is you really have to do some social networking strategies in Link Building. For ex. you can can also use your twitter account, meaning you can connect your twitter account to your Facebook so every time you tweet it integrates to you Facebook automatically so all your follower in twitter will have the chance to click your Facebook account or fan page.
