Since I'm not always around when one of my bloggers posts something I've needed to come up with a way to have my FB page (as well as twitter) update automatically.
I have tried Hootsuite, but I don't like the way it looks, and I can't see a way to use images. And for whatever reason, those ow.ly urls irritate me.
I currently have networked blogs set up, but I'm not that happy with it either. Apparently it doesn't recognize gravatars - which is what I would prefer to be the image it would show. Instead it shows a little thumbnail of the blog page. I like how it does the links though, with real link text, not keywordy, but just not the whole url.
When I do it manually through FB, it lets me choose the image I want and since I'm writing the text for it, I can write whatever I want and make it tailored for FB users. But I can't find any way to use html on FB so in the main text it shows the whole long url. I don't really like that.
Any suggestions? How do you set yours up?
