Social vs.SEM vs. SEO for Paywalls
Are conversion rates of .1% to .2% good?

We're considering doing some Facebook ads to try and get some paid subscribers, and I came across this story on SEO vs. SEM for paywalls:

It says that "social is the future" and that SEM is too expensive for use for paywalls. Does anyone have any experience with this? The conversion rates on SEM look WAY better than the SEO efforts. I'm curious as to why that might be. Any idea? Thanks in advance.
