I myself could live without Facebook I do very little on the site. Tried their PPC want a waste of 100 bucks, but to the point of the post.
My wife I don't think could live without the site. She plays a game called bejeweled. To me a complete waste of precious time in my life, to her it is something she can't live without. Well I got a new computer about a year ago and gave her my older one. In a little over a month it got something that when cleaned off caused the hard drive to crash. I thought it was just the computer so I bought her a new one. 2 months latter she got another one and I was able to repair it. All this time I have been asking her what she was doing and could really never figure out how she was getting them, but I kept telling her they were coming from facebook. Well friday evening I come home and was told she had another one. This time cleaning it up the virus was attached to some very important operating system files and the computer blue screened after removing the virus. Thank God I had a windows XP disk from my laptop as was able to reformat the computer and install starting over with a new computer. Well the virus had as well attached it to some of the drives so there were several missing. I had to get the missing drives from Dell and install. Got it going about 2AM insalled and ran my mayware program and there were 2 more in the reboot files. After all the undates I got done about 3AM.

I found out by accident she was accepting game points from bejeweled players and asked her if she had accepted them on this day. She had and then thought about it more and relized she had done this the last time as well.

There it is bad bugs are being passed though these 3rd party providers on Facebook. Now I have one more reason to stay away from Facebook, and with the new announcement last month on Facebook adding new games to waste people's lives I suspect there will be an ever increasing number of users being infected from this site.
