Facebook Denies Claims It'll Build Its Own Smartphone [bbc.co.uk]
Facebook has announced it is going to try to push deeper into the mobile phone market.

But at the same time the social networking giant has denied plans it is going to build its own smartphone.

Companies like HTC and to a lesser extent Windows Phone 7 have pretty clean facebook integration. For example my contacts are mostly displayed with their Facebook image as caller image on my HTC Android phone.

One big problem I have is people who have their phone number within their Facebook profile appear in my contacts when I try to send a text message. If I wanted them there I would have added them.

Mack.

Didn't some Google company deny they were making their own smartphone a while back?

When a company denies something it's never 100%.
