|Ranking well on Seznam|

Does anyone have experience working with Seznam on SEO, the top engine in the Czech Republic? I'd love any info you have on what elements are important to rank well for that engine, especially compared to more mainstream engines like GG and YH. I've heard that the crawl is super infrequent. Is that right? What about seeing page cache? I don't see a way to do that, do they allow it?
thanks for your advice,

I am not sure that Seznam is the top Czech engine anymore, but it was reported as such years ago. I have had a 150-page site in Czech up since early 2002. For what it is worth, these are some of the 2007 search engine figures from my log:
Seznamn did not spider the site during 2007, so "super infrequent" is an understatement. Did a search and noted really poor SERP. That wouldn't have escaped the Czechs, so I think you can safely forget about Seznam.

I agree that it crawls very infrequently, and I'm having big problems getting my content into the index at all (although using the manual submission form seems to help sometimes). However, Seznam is most definitely still the largest engine in CZ unfortunately. 2007 figures I've seen show it at 63% compared to GG at 23%. Sad but true.
So, anyone had any success with ranking well on Seznam, or even getting your content into the index?

did you see the "Seznamn did not spider the site during 2007" comment
You may be waiting a long time for it to get in there, if ever

thanks for all the discouragement folks, but does anyone have any advice aside from "ignore Seznam"?

I have only had one client in .cz and from my research for him I would say that classic on-page optimization is more important than it is for Google or Y!. I would just follow SEO101 (Titles, h-tags, alt-attributes, ...) and you should be fine.
