We hold an unutilized email list of considerable size for customers who purchased through us 4-5 years ago. Those customers are across the Globe and have not been emailed since they purchased.
By the nature of the business, customers are highly likely to purchase again and share their purchasing experience with others.
- The first task I see is to find a service provider who is prepared to send for such a large, old and previously unutilized list. Any recommendations?
- We need to make sure the unsubscribe is minimized. What's the best way - remind them of their substantial purchase and ask if they want to stay in touch for the future ? Double Opt In ?
- Does combining a campaign with social [ say FaceBook and/or LinkedIn ] improve the stickiness of the relationship? Is it workable ?
- Are there some smart ways out there to merge the two, or is it just a case of placing invitation buttons into the mailout
- Any other ideas?
