This is not exactly ecommerce but it is a new way for small traders to take credit card payments at point of sale.

With the only set up cost being the modest price for the optional card reader (GBP20, didn't check other currencies) it looks very much like a B&M version of PayPal. Its a gap in the market that needed filling.
