Hi All,
i spend a Lot of time developing sites in an adjacent arena, but never developed a site to sell goods,
So I am looking for pointers on where to start, with software
I am aware that bespoke is great if the figures add up, but for starters, finding out whether the business works, I want ready made
I've heard of Joomla, Drupal, oscommerce, I see that some see panels offer a checkout cart. Thing is I looked at all off them and it seemed that there was a lot of work to be done , before one could start selling widgets online

Have a look at Inzu they have a PHP example site you can download which is only 49k and works on any server you just customise the HTML and CSS and and your account API key. I think it's on the developers site. [edited by: lorax at 11:20 pm (utc) on Oct 4, 2012]

ouch,
Sorry to jump in.
Just browse the big commerce solution and they dont acept non USA residents.
Any similar solution for european based prospective online sellers ?
