| How long before a void is removed from pending status?

Hi,
I voided a customers authorization using Authorize.Net, and he emailed me now saying it is still visible as a pending transaction in his banking site.
How long does it usually take for a void to be removed as a pending transaction?

It generally depends on his banking institution. Most voids I do are immediate. I've tested on my own cards in the past and with my bank once I void it...it's gone.
I've had a couple of customers who I voided and it took a day to drop off. It's not supposed to work that way, but apparently their bank is slower to take them off.

concur, have him contact his card issuer, they can tell him it's gone. the customer's online platforms vary in their speed of updating.

Ok, thank you...I'll have him contact his bank directly to find out what his bank's "pending hold" time is.

it is a general rule it takes about 3-4 business days to disappear.
