Adwords is the only one that I can think of with an extensive multi country inventory (its a while since I investigated alternatives). An idea of the location of your target market would help.

Bad idea, you have people coming to your site to buy from you so why would you show ads that might display competitors sites (which most likely adsense will)

unless you have decent traffic then adsense is the only game in town
... affiliate marketing is an option but this requires work rather than just inserting the code for ads.
