Visa Acquires CyberSource For e-commerce Security [news.cnet.com]
Visa said Wednesday that it will acquire CyberSource, which provides electronic payment and e-commerce security software, for $2 billion.
Visa said it will take CyberSource's products and services and sell them throughout its network, improve its fraud detection capabilities,

Big news. Will be interesting for those of us using Authorize.Net what (if any) changes will take place.

CyberSource bought Authorize.Net in 2007, is that correct?
Now CyberSource is being acquired by Visa.

I wonder how Amex views this...

All of my cards are Visa and I use authorize.net for my ecommerce :)

i've been noticing some hiccups lately with auth.net and our merchant account. i figure it has to do with things visa is making auth.net do to bring things up to snuff before visa takes over.
