Selling Toys on website
Any CRM software to handle email?

 5:01 am on Sep 12, 2009 (gmt 0)

We have been selling collectables on our own website using Paypal for years. Recently we have employed someone just to reply emails but she always seems to miss out some.. (We have to handle large volume of emails like shipping, questions on products etc..) Also, certain emails need to be directed to the sales team. We end up not reply quite a bit of emails on time.

Is there any CRM software that is able to track the emails sent or received so that we can check all previous correspondence with a customer. This will enable us to improve our workflow.

I guess you should consider some good shopping cart for your website , it will weed out half of emails related to shipping , where is my product , informing customer about invoices etc.

Coming to your main topic , There are many choices for CRM software

I guess you need to be specific what type of you want.

In open CRM there are many choices like Sugar CRM , Open CRX

For commercial you can try out Boldchat , Liverperson CRM solutions.

Just try to see these almost all of these offer trial and you can see which one works for you.

We are thinking to moving to a good shopping cart. What would be a good solution considering that we have been using Paypal shopping cart so far?

There are many choices with you , if you can give me some idea on scale of your website then i can give you exact idea for shopping cart. Paypal can be used with almost any shopping cart.
Names of shopping carts include Zen , osCommerce

Do you have just shopping website or other pages too?

You can also consider some CMS and use addon shopping cart platform within it. In this way you can have ease of updating websites and shopping cart.

All depends on what type of thing you want to do.

Thanks for the reply. We are using Paypal shopping cart. All we have to do is to paste a paypal script into each of the product pages.

As we already have quite a bit of traffic, I would need a shopping cart that allows me to just paste a code because using carts like osCommerce will require me to built our site from scratch.
