Sorry I don't have an answer for you as I have never looked into that service myself. Have you narrowed down your selection by doing a Google search on '"pay by mobile" billing' yet?

This thread prompted me to have a quick look at what is on offer. In the ones that I have just looked at payment processor grabs a larger percentage from an SMS transaction that for credit cards. Also for a search, try "SMS" not "mobile". The latter was just flooded with information on paying FOR mobiles.

For micropayments of digital content, virutal goods, downloads, most merchants simply pass on the mobile fees to the consumer. Happy to provide more info by pm.

there is also "allopass" ..big in Europe ..but also they have presence in the USA ..one of their services ( in Europe at least ) is pay via SMS for short term entry into protected areas of sites ..
wether they are any good or not ( from the point of view of merchants or customers ) I have no idea ..you'd need to do your own research ..I have heard that they are in the ringtones market though ..anyway it's another name ( I have no connection ) ..HTH
