what is the ideal percentage of chargebacks as a merchant
Zero is ideal but we all have them. There is a $25-30 pop on each charge back so it is wise to not have many. Also a high rate of charge backs will either throw your processing fees sky high or get your merchant account terminated.
Your in a very high fraud area so I would put into place a better way of verifying the card holder before I processed the card reducing your charge back rates.
There really isn't an ideal number other than 0 We try our best to have none but ever now and then again we relax on a small order and get bit. My best guess is 1 out of 800 orders.

got here another concern, anyone knows what could be the impression of having many refunds on your Financial Statement when applying another merchant? can u get low chances of approval if high refund on your FS because of returning fraudulent payments?
