Google Checkout planning to use it chewy msg:3845780 6:58 pm on Feb 9, 2009 (gmt 0) Finally we've got a new shopping cart that allows Google Checkout.
Does anyone have any stories to relate - does it work, does it s*ck, does it make a difference?
I've noticed some days there are plenty of competitors using it in our sector, and just now I noticed there are many fewer. Does anyone have any experience with this?

ok, so now we are using it and within the first 24 hours we are getting orders -- HOORAY!
It doesn't look like things are integrating back with the shopping cart.
anybody got any tips on figuring out how to diagnose this?
I now know that Google apparently doesn't offer any telephone support on this.

The one thing I missed when I first setup Google Checkout was the automatic charge option. I was having to go in each time there was a Checkout order and hit "charge".
...later on I found a setting I could change to make it happen automatically...

later on I found a setting I could change to make it happen automatically might want to think on this. not sure of your shipping or delivery process but Google has made it clear don't process the order until it is shipped. I process my orders to insure we have the item in stock and don't process it until it is shipped.
Fraud orders are far and few but they can happen so I would make sure you won't run into any issues with the orders being processed automatically.
