You are not going to find many truly off the shelf packages, nearly all will require some tweaking and setup. Even Yahoo stores, which is probably the most "ready to run" takes about a day to fully setup, and much more if you customize the look and feel.

thank you, i considered yahoo but i figured they do not likely allow the addition of any affiliates or google ads - anyone know if they do? though i will be selling my own products, i wanted to offer other opportunities for shopping as well. thanks!

Hi tektwin, we are using aspdotnetstorefront and are pretty happy with it. It has many built in features, almost everything online store needs. There is one time fee when you buy it (price depends on the version you buy) but you have to pay for their support (~$250 / year) if you want it. Support however is excellent. If you buy version without code your customization is a little bit limited but if you purchase code you can do full customization.

Do a search for Page Down Tech. They have a very affordable .asp package that runs right out of the box.

I'm using ShopSite as a monthly rental from my ISP. Was simple to set up and get running. Only takes time if you don't like their built-in templates and want to do your own.
