We have run our store for a few months now and everything is going well except for phone customer support. Our biggest problem is that we still keep our full time day jobs and canít answer the phone if customer calls. We have a voice mail and call back in the evening if customer requests but I just donít like this solution and want to consider phone support outsourcing.
If anyone here is using outsourced phone support can you please share with me what company are you using and what are their rates?
I found several companies but they donít have clear information posted about all rates, requirements, etc. Only one Incontact24-7 seems to show their rates and fees. Is it reasonable to pay $49.99setup fee + 9.99 per month + 0.6 per min for answering support? We have really low volume of calls now, but I donít want to miss them anyway.

If you just need an answering service - use a service like RingCentral and then when you're not available forward to a LOCAL call center - I say local because you should walk in there and have a chat with the owner before going forward...
If you have a low call volume, do you have any friends/family that will answer the calls for a token amount of money? Stay at home moms are good people to ask. You can have the calls forwarded to them while you're at work. They may be willing to do it for a small amount of money just to have something else to do whikle they are at home all day.
