.org & .net VS .com dailypress msg:4663070 7:51 am on Apr 15, 2014 (gmt 0) hello all, Estibot estimates the value of a .com domain to be: $180,000 Freq: 1,870,000 Searched: 60,390 Traffic: - Competition: high CPC: $2.8 the .net: $ 1,900 and the .org version: $ 1,700 How is that the .net and .org are so much cheaper. I thought the .com is usually worth 10x more. How accurate is Estibot anyway? Based on the number of searches and CPC do you think the estimate is within range? Thanks in advance, DP

i think its costly .in my point of view you should buy a expired domain and promote it and it will be good for you. dailypress msg:4664337 5:15 am on Apr 19, 2014 (gmt 0)
I agree it is very costly. However, I really want this domain and at this point I'm not sure if its an addiction or a legit business and logical decision cause I've never dared to pay this much for a name. p.s> I was planning to use my savings to upgrade my car but I rather ride a very nice domain than a nicer car. balsmith msg:4675659 7:18 am on May 29, 2014 (gmt 0)
It is too costly, and it is Top Level Domain. Webmasters are now opt for getting .biz extension nowadays where they found the TLD is not available for them. gpmgroup msg:4675690 10:19 am on May 29, 2014 (gmt 0)
How is that the .net and .org are so much cheaper. I thought the .com is usually worth 10x more. Depends on the name and the sector/vertical.
