|New gTLDs Now in the Wild: Oooo! Ahhh! Zzzzzzzz|
I suspect the usual BS will repeat itself
| 5:24 pm on Feb 11, 2014 (gmt 0)|
The "usual BS" of new gTLD launches includes
- Early "reports" of a few Big$$$ sales . . about which I will have serious doubts about the bona fides of the "sale" OR the intelligence of the purported buyers
- Reports by various domainers of the new gTLD "scores", though this time I expect a good deal of caveats and "Hey, I'm really not into this but . . "
- Endless shilling for each new gTLD - as far as it will be tolerated
- Newly acquired gems put up for sale . . with NO takers
What exciting non-news am I missing about this massive non-event of the launch of 100s of new gTLDs. . besides the speculation about how Google's decision to enter the domain space will play out?
