Your going to have to sell a lot of advertising to get that investment back assuming you can get past the main players that now dominate just about every free/streaming/download term
good luck ..your going to need it and not something that I would take on

I'd go against it personally, i got my tube site to about 100,000 hits a month and was still not making a whole lot of money. And i did that with a random domain name.
Thinking about user intent too, when someone searches for "free+keyword" they are not wanting to pay for anything. So any affiliates Ads would do shockingly bad and normal CPM would be difficult to make good money... [edited by: Webwork at 2:28 pm (utc) on Aug 14, 2012]

I'd go with the advice, above. mcharalambous somewhat nicely sums the issue up by observing that there's not a lot of money in "free".
Welcome to WebmasterWorld mcharalambous. Don't much mind the edit. As a noob or neophyte you're doing a good job. If you haven't done so I suggest you read this forum's "Charter" [webmasterworld.com ] as we're not (at all) like so many other domain forums.
